Workshops
S&G and partners organises several open workshops Life Cycle Costing with LCC-Lite throughout the year. In these workshops you learn to work with the theory, the background and appliance of Life Cycle Costing in your own professional practice. The purpose is to achieve better cost-benefit analyses that will lead to better investment and maintenance decisions, responsible designing to costs, better founded negotiations and an easy way to calculate the exact cost price.

The costs of assets are fixed at the beginning of the life cycle, when the asset is acquired or designed. By using the LCC-method, lots of costs can be saved.

LCC is a so-called “design-to-cost” model, providing insight by displaying the costs (and revenues) over the life cycle graphically.

With LCC most costs can be saved regarding replacement issues. In these issues the knowledge about economical principles often still are inadequate.

Also for suppliers of capital assets it can be very useful to have a tool to give goal-oriented and clear advises to customers

That is why S&G and partners have developed this workshop. The softwaretool LCC-Lite is specially made for cost-benefit analyses on project level, based on Life Cycle Costing.

LCC-Lite makes profoundly comparing the costs over the life cycle a lot easier and faster.

Different alternatives can be compared and also the economic replacement moment (ERM) can be determined, with or without investment alternative.

People from very diverse organizations have participated in this workshop and now are capable of applying Life Cycle Costing in their daily practice. A capability that inevitably will lead to significant cost savings for the company that they work for.
