Quantitative Maintenance analyses
The effects of maintenance over the life span are not taken into account in traditional maintenance management concepts. CMMS-software mostly does not optimize maintenance concepts, by analyzing the data over the lifespan.

With LCC-AM/QM you will be able to determine exactly your maintenance over the life span. You can find out how effective it actually is and which maintenance efforts will be necessary in the future. These analyses can help to reduce maintenance costs by up to 30%. Quantitative Maintenance analyses also support the determination of the economic replacement moment of the assets.

QM-analysis: Maintenance over the life span.
The next chart shows the maintenance activities over the life span. This is just one chart in a "tree of charts". These are helpful to understand the development of the maintenance over the life span. They also are supporting a wise replacement policy, finding extremes, finding between suppliers, types, environments and other variables.

Relation between corrective and preventive/inspective maintenance
The chart below is showing us an example of the relation between preventive maintenance (in week 0) and the maintenance after this calibration point. You would expect a low level of corrective maintenance after preventive maintenance, increasing again after some time. This is not the case in this chart. So the preventive maintenance seems to be ineffective or even contra-effective.

   So with this function in LCC-AM/QM it is possible to:
    - Identifying non effective maintenance;
    - Identifying maintenance induced failures;
    - Optimizing optimal maintenance cycle.

Projection into the future
Not only for maintenance, but also regarding other costs (capital, energy) we can predict the future. See "Long term calculations".
